Creek headphone amplifiers eliminate the use of a full size
amplifier for boosting the power when only headphones are
used. An average output level CD player or tuner can be connected
directly to the input of the headphone amplifier.
Following on the success of the OBH-11,
the new Creek OBH-21 & OBH-21SE incorporate more advanced
circuitry utilising professional standard operational amplifiers.
The discrete transistor technology used in the OBH-11 has
been replaced by high-grade integrated circuits providing
a capability to drive different types and impedances of headphones
without problem.

The OBH-11 is a miniature audio amplifier, designed specifically to drive a single pair of low to medium impedance (30 Ohm -300 Ohm) headphones from a line level source.
The OBH-11 is compatible with any source at line level. For example: an average output level CD player can be connected directly to the input of the OBH-11, just as it could also be used in conjunction with a stand-alone pre-amplifier or integrated amplifier which doesn't have a headphone output.

Reference Headphone Amp, the RA1. Designed for state-of-the-art
performance and specifically to play Grados, the new RA-1

This new amp is machined from a solid block of mahogany and
measures 5" wide, 5 1/2" deep and 1 1/2" tall
and weighs in at 12 oz. Two 9-Volt batteries will drive the
amp for 40 to 50 hours of listening pleasure. And the sound?
Just like all Grados: warm, smooth, full-bodied, non-fatiguing
and rich. Hook it up to any line source (portable or in-home)
and drive your Grado headphones to their full potential.

This is one seriously heavy-duty piece of gear. We're not kidding. It weighs 15 pounds!! It's made from ultra-high-quality parts. It looks stunning especially for a headphone amp. The sound is so typically Cayin that being natural and musically delicate without excessive warmth or detail. In other words: just right.
