Cayin A-50T $1,395
The Cayin Audio A-50T uses four EL34s for Class A/B1 P.P amplification. The craftsmanship is absolutely first-rate, featuring point-to-point wiring, and each unit is hand-initialed by a quality-control inspector. The toroid power transformer and EI audio transformer are specially manufactured for the A-50T with low magnetic leakage, wide frequency response and low impedance. Two 12AX7EHs and two 12AU7s are used in the preamplifier. One very cool feature is the ability to switch between ultralinear and triode by remote control.

Cayin A-70T $2,195
The Cayin A-70T is manufactured to deliver the sound of the classic Marantz 8B. It uses four KT88s for Class A2 P.P amplification. The toroid power transformer and EI audio transformer are specially manufactured with low magnetic leakage, wide frequency response and low impedance. Two 12AX7EHs and two 12AU7EHs are used in the preamplifier. Works with KT-88, 6550, EL34, 6CA7, 6L6 or KT66 tubes. One very cool feature is the ability to switch between Ultralinear and Triode by remote control.

Cayin A-88T $2,395
This piece was hand-built with extreme attention to detail, including point-to-point wiring. Point-to-point was the way that amps used to be wired back in the 1950s and '60s when cost was not the primary objective. Nowadays, most everything contains circuit boards instead of this point-to-point wiring, which is much more dependable and better performing. The bottom line is that point-to-point wiring sounds better. It's one of the main reasons why these Cayin pieces sound like the classic tube gear from Marantz and McIntosh. Generally, products that feature point-to-point wiring cost a fortune, or they feature sub-par workmanship. You simply are not going to find craftsmanship like with this Cayin gear for anywhere close to this price.

Cayin A-100T $3,295
This piece was hand built with extreme attention to detail, including point-to-point wiring. Point-to-point was the way that amps used to be wired back in the 1950s and '60s when cost was not the primary objective. The bottom line is that point-to-point wiring sounds better.

Cayin A-300B $3,495
Finally, a chance to enjoy the legendary sound of 300B tubes without spending a fortune. Two 300Bs are used for Class A push-pull amplification, while two 6SL7s and two 6SN7s are used for the preamplifier. One SOVTEK 5AR4 is used for rectification. The toroid power transformer and EI audio transformer are specially manufactured for low magnetic leakage, wide frequency response and low impedance. Like with every Cayin piece, this integrated amp is all hand-made and features an all-tube design and includes a remote control.

Creek [back

Destiny Integrated Amplifier $2,495
The Destiny integrated amplifier will continue to produce world beating audio performance, through its continued use of discrete analogue MOS-FET circuitry which was first developed for Creek’s amplification products in 1993. This circuitry has continued to be used with great success since that time.

Classic 5350SE $1,695
The Classic 5350SE is constructed in a modular way, with separate power amp, pre-amp and remote volume control circuit boards, connected with computer grade flat cables, plugs and sockets. It features a passive pre-amp circuit, providing no additional gain to the source signal. Although not strictly necessary, it can be configured with an active pre-amp if required, by plugging in an optional gain board which can be configured in steps of 3, 6 or 9 dB. An optional MM or MC Phono pre-amp can also be plugged in to further increase the flexibility of this fine integrated amplifier.

Evolution Integrated Amplifier $1,095
To achieve 85 Watts power into an 8 Ohms load and >160 Watts into 4 Ohms, the mains transformer has to be big. The Evo uses an over-rated 250VA toroidal transformer, which will provide enough current to drive the amplifier to almost double its output into 4 Ohms. To improve the sound quality, no expense has been spared.

Neuhaus Labs [back

T-2 Amplifier $795
Times have changed, and most people have music on computers instead of CD's. CD's are already becoming an obsolete music format. You may have had the experience of connecting speakers to your laptop computer to listen to music and hearing how terrible the sound quality is. It doesn't matter how expensive the speakers are; they simply won't sound good, because computers are not meant to deliver superior sound quality. The sound cards on most computers are terrible. But now, neuhaus laboratories has developed the integrated vacuum tube T-2 Amplifier to bring quality Hi Fi audiophile sound to laptops and desktop computers.
How do we do that? Well, there are two ways.
First, by extracting only the digital music files in your computer. When you connect your T-2 Amplifier to your computer via USB, you are bypassing the sound card on your computer. We simply take the pure unaltered digital files from your computers and send it directly to our amp. The T-2 Amplifier has a built in Digital to Analog Converter (DAC). A digital-to-analog converter, or DAC, converts digital information — 0's and 1's — into analog music signals. When you connect computer speakers normally, they attach to your sound out or headphone plug. This type of connection produces terrible sound quality because uses the computer's sound card, which is, again, not meant to produce quality sounding music.
After we convert the digital file to analog, we amplify the signal with vacuum tube technology, NOT solid-state transistors like most amps you can buy at your local superstore.

Rega [back
to top]

Brio
The Brio is a simple, high performance, integrated amplifier.
The design and cost has been concentrated on the highest possible
sound quality rather than gadgets, buttons and unnecessary
frills often found at this price range.
The output amplifier is built around a pair
of Sanken 150w Darlington output transistors. An electronic
circuit protects against shorted speakers and reactive loads.
The short circuit detects loads of 1.7W or less. The Brio
has enough power to deliver 100 watts into a 2W load (not
recommended in normal use!).
The power supply uses a generously rated toroidal
transformer and 10,000mF smoothing capacitors providing enough
current to drive the hardest of loads.
If excellent sound quality at a sensible price
is your priority then this may be the ideal amplifier for
you.

Mira 3
The Rega Mira 3 Amplifier is a high performance audio amplifier
using the Improved type 3 Rega Alpha-Encoder control
system comprising of high quality loss-less relays, plus a
digitally controlled analog switched resistor network volume
control. The Mira 3 is housed in the Rega custom-built extruded
aluminium case incorporating a high thermal efficiency heat
sink. Rega has kept the same level of performance and synergy
between stages as in the original Mira 2000 amplifier with
a better level of functionality & controllability in the
volume control user interface.
The Rega Mira 3 is a 60 Watt integrated
amplifier with full flexibility within the range. It has a
Pre-amplifier output and Power amplifier input. The gain of
the power amplifier is 28dB for full output, and thus enables
the amplifier to be expanded to drive Bi-amplifier or active
speaker systems (Sub Bass etc). It can also drive multiple
speakers if required or be part of a high performance AV system.
The amplifier has a fully short circuit
and DC protected output stage and high quality Evox film capacitors
have been used in the signal path throughout.
