LFT-12
Eminent Technology introduces the LFT-12 Center Channel Speaker. The LFT-12 is the most advanced planar center channel speaker available. As a fully shielded design, it can be placed on top of a direct view television or used with any projection television.With a thin profile it can also mount directly on a wall.

Conventional center channel speakers and other planar/electrostatic designs utilize a small area tweeter which creates a wide sound field. The LFT-12 is the first center channel speaker with narrow directivity over a wide frequency range. With 40 degrees of horizontal dispersion and 10 degrees of vertical dispersion the LFT-12 projects a focused center image which draws the listener to the center when the program material requires it like no other center channel available.

The LFT-12 operates with surround sound receivers or separate amplifiers with a minimum of 35 watts RMS per channel. A single LFT-12 is designed to operate in room volumes of up to 4000 cubic feet or listener distances of 5 feet to 15 feet from the speaker.The LFT-12 occupies by far the smallest footprint of any planar design available.

The LFT-12 will work well in any home theater system. Its low coloration, distortion and neutral sound quality will blend with any speaker type.

LFT-VI
The Eminent Technology LFT-VI is a full-range, push-pull, dynamic planar loudspeaker. In a sense, it is the magnetic equivalent of a push-pull electrostatic loudspeaker, differing in that it requires no step-up transformer or bias voltage, and that the audio signal is applied directly to its diaphragm.

LFT-VIII
The Eminent Technology LFT-VIIIa is a hybrid, with push-pull, dynamic planar loudspeaker elements for the midrange and tweeter and a conventional cone loudspeaker for bass. The planar section is in a sense, the magnetic equivalent of a push-pull electrostatic loudspeaker, differing in that it requires no step-up transformer or bias voltage, and that the audio signal is applied directly to its diaphragm.

M-15
The M15 remains faithful to the spirit of Epos with the emphasis on musicality and communication. This speaker satisfies the needs of the most discerning listener, whether it be for 2 channel or high quality home theatre listening.

Epos Acoustics proudly announced the world launch of a new model, the M15 loudspeaker, at CES2000 in Las Vegas and will be demonstrating it for the first time in Europe from the 1st to the 4th June at the Frankfurt Hi-End Show.

The M15 has been designed to be part of a more extensive Epos Home Theatre system. However, it will also be perfect as a high performance 2 channel floorstanding monitor.
The M15 features an 25mm aluminium dome tweeter designed in-house, using a high efficiency shielded magnet system, to improve sensitivity, transient response and reduce smearing. This improves imaging and enhances the pace, rhythm and timing characteristics that have become Epos hallmarks.

The well established Epos 150mm bass/midrange driver has a custom injection moulded cone piston, precision profiled to improve transient response and integration with the tweeter without the need for a complicated crossover. In addition it has now been fitted with an additional bucking magnet and shielding can for use in 'Home Theatre' systems.

The cabinet is a low diffraction design, eliminating secondary sources of sound, improving stereo imaging and detail resolution. Extensive internal bracing reduces cabinet coloration and a gas-flowed reflex port is used to reduce turbulence. It comes with four 8mm heavy duty floor spikes, to reduce mechanical resonances.

In true Epos tradition only two components are used in the crossover with the performance of the bass/mid driver being controlled mechanically. This results in a level of detail, resolution and communication unheard in a loudspeaker of this class.

M-12
The high performance of the M12 ensures it excels as a 2 channel monitor, yet it's clever design guarantees it equally meets the increasing demand for high quality home theatre speaker.

Ara
The Ara is a conventional bass reflex bookshelf loudspeaker that boasts a superb natural sound quality. The Ara can perform well with a low powered budget amplifier although when partnered with the highest possible quality amplification at higher power levels the Ara can outperform many of the best bookshelf loudspeakers produced regardless of price. The Ara can be placed away from a wall where it will produce a light bass output or close to a wall for a more powerfull bass. It can be stand, shelf or wall mounted.

Alya
The Alya is a compact floor-standing loudspeaker utilising a two-stage acoustic filter/bass reflex design. The Alya will work in most domestic hi-fi situations and is ideally suited for listening in smaller rooms when coupled with lower powered amplifiers such as the Rega Brio.

Changes for 2002
The new Alya carries forward the same excellent bass response and high quality mid-range as found in the previous model. The Alya now uses the new 4mm-diameter steel wire grill frame. This is fixed to the cabinet using the new Rega grill clip system, as featured on the new Ela, Naos and Jura loudspeakers. Removal of the grill will reveal a new cleaner looking front baffle. A Jura style logo has been machined into the front baffle and the new style plinth as seen on the Ela has also been added.

Jura
The Jura is Rega's all purpose floor-standing loudspeaker. The bass reflex design works just as well with digital electronic music as it does with acoustic music and can perform very well at high volumes.

The Jura is also a great choice for integration in an AV system where it will offer a higher musical sound quality than many AV dedicated loudspeakers.

Naos
The Naos is a quarter wave transmission line loudspeaker design ideally suited to the larger room. It presents an easy load to the amplifier and can be comfortably driven by the Rega Brio. The Naos will most likely be used with higher powered amplifiers such as the Cursa/Maia combination where it will excel with its exceptionally extended low frequency response, and its ability to play all music at quiet or very loud volumes.

Ela
Rega and many Ela owners believe that the Ela is one of the best all round loudspeakers ever produced. It produces an extremely natural sound balanced across a wider frequency range than most other loudspeakers. The Ela also produces a particularly tuneful and natural bass and is especially suitable for listeners who love bass tunes but hate woolly overblown bass produced by many loudspeakers.

The Ela uses a quarter wave transmission line. To improve airflow through the fold in the transmission line, a full radius section is fitted into the base of the Ela cabinet, resulting in smooth, uninterrupted airflow.

Due to its particularly even bass response the Ela is unusually insensitive to room positioning. The speakers can be placed up to 50mm from a rear wall, in corners or away from the walls. The angle of the speaker is not important. Both loudspeakers can be placed at different angles or in different positions.

Vulcan
The Vulcan subwoofer has been designed to produce true sub bass frequencies which are often felt as well as heard. The Vulcan is fully adjustable and works as well in a two channel system as it does in the most demanding home cinema systems. The Vulcan's 8" long throw magnesium chassis driver is exclusive to Rega and demonstrates an exceptionally long throw and incorporates a double magnet system, which allows such a compact unit to produce such a powerful performance. The Vulcan provides a phase control, frequency control and a high and low level gain, with frequencies market from 30Hz to 230Hz, as well as Hi-fi, AV and full range settings, with a frequency range of 17Hz to 240Hz. The Vulcan has gold plated phono sockets and a high level input socket for optimum connection flexibility.

Senta
Designed to compliment the new Vulcan subwoofer and a variety of Rega loudspeakers in a home theatre system, the Senta offers high-end performance that virtually disappears. With five different loudspeakers to mate with, the senta offers complete flexibility of configuration. The top end is extended and smooth with almost a complete lack of grain, making it the perfect speaker for the critical centre channel. The Senta is available in real cherry, light oak or black ash veneers. An optional stand is available which allows the Senta to be positioned on most televisions.

Many conventional AV centre channel loudspeakers utilise two small midrange drivers with a central tweeter. These are designed with cosmetic priorities to give a low thin profile. Ironically, two separate midrange drivers will acoustically interact with each other producing a poor sound in precisely the region the loudspeaker is designed to work - the voice. Rega offers an alternative solution maybe not so appealing visually but unequalled for voice quality.
