While re-thinking the new Mk V we felt it was very important to maintain the design signatiure of the original Paris turntable.Everything else is a total redesign! The Oracle mechanical design concepts are always intimately linked to the overlapping of different materials interacting within a same assembly for an optimal control of vibrations and resonances. The Paris Mk V follows that same construction philosophy. Compared with the Delphi MK VI which has a very sophisticated full floating spring suspension and micro vibration stabiliser system, the Paris suspension is very efficient while being much simpler. It has been completely redesigned taking into account the findings that led to the development of the Delphi MK VI. The platter and tonearm are mounted on a semi floating chassis using a suspension made of fibreglass rods and sorbothane rings. The combination of these materials contributes to virtually eliminate the access of unwanted vibrations to the semi floating chassis where the platter, the tone arm and the phono cartridge are interacting.

The Paris tonearm, avaiable as an option, features a micro vibration damping system specially developed by Oracle to eliminate undesirable resonances and vibrations generated within the tonearm itself dued to the interaction of the needle with the disc. The combination of the suspension efficiency coupled with the micro vibration control system provides true isolation from the external environment allowing the stylus to retrieve the most accurate information from the record groove. The Paris is a belt driven turntable and has a low voltage synchronous AC motor. The drive electronics of the Paris has a very high precision oscillator circuit which creates a perfect sine wave signal to feed the motor ensuring high rotational accuracy for optimal speed stability. This system also isolates the drive electronics from line voltage impurities and fluctuations. The above features combined to the choice of materials are the essence of a high performance turntable and together explain the Paris outstanding music reproduction!

Since 1979, Oracle Audio has been producing state-of-the-art stereo components. Oracle's first turntable, the AC model, introduced new features and technologies to the analog world. Oracle's Delphi MkI was introduced in 1980. The new Delphi MkVI is the sixth edition of the Delphi's line heritage. Through the years the Delphi won numerous prestigious awards and it has been acclaimed worldwide! The Delphi MkVI was awarded the Analog Grand Prix 2010 Gold Award from Japan, more recently Enjoy the Music.com's Best of 2014 Blue Note Award. To this day the Delphi is still Oracle's flagship product and still serves as a reference in the analog community!

Using the finest components and design technologies, the Oracle Delphi MkVI is exquisite in all aspects. Like its predecessors the Delphi MkVI is supported by three suspension pillars to efficiently control unwanted vibrations. It harbors a massive belt-driven platter that uses a center clamp system first introduced by Oracle back in 1979. The Delphi's floating chassis, milled from solid billets of aluminum, is an extremely rigid and inert structure supporting the tonearm and the platter. While the fabrication process of the Delphi is one of minute precision its development process is one of science and emotion; to bring out all of the music's depth and detail. Truly the Delphi MkVI is a work of art!

The Delphi MkVI was launched in late 2009 featuring our new and innovative Micro Vibration Stabilizer System which took its performance level to new heights!  Today, summer 2015, we are introducing the Delphi MkVI Second Generation. This latest edition features a two-piece platter assembly which greatly facilitates drive belt installation while also reducing platter resonances. Our drive electronics module was also modified and now harbors a larger power reserve which provides more torque to the motor. Although it is offered as an option, our recently revised Turbo Power Supply MkII exceeds all our expectations! It has a signal that is so stable it outperformed our references! We consider the Turbo Power Supply MkII as a fundamental part of the Delphi MkVI Second Generation.

The new Delphi MkVI Second Generation provides a higher dynamic contrast than ever largely due to its improved transient response resulting in a remarkable ability to preserve the harmonic structure of the music. Driven by our new Turbo Power Supply MkII the Delphi MkVI Second Generation will transform your listening sessions into unforgettable lifelike experiences!

RP-6 Exact                  $1,990.00

RP-6 w/o Cartridge    $1,495.00

Based on the ever popular Gyro SE, the Orbe SE is Michell's flagship turntable. It improves upon the Gyro in a number of areas. It employs a similar European-made DC motor housed in a significantly heavier bronze and aluminum housing, with the addition of a tachometer feedback signal that is sent to the NC Tacho power supply. Using this signal, this larger power supply constantly adjusts the motor speed in real time for rock solid speed stability under varying environmental or loading conditions such as caused by stylus drag for instance. Additionally the NC Tacho power supply uses patented Never Connected circuitry which totally breaks the conduction path from AC mains pollution, preventing unwanted contamination of the DC voltage that is fed to the motor. The sound improvement is stunning. Like the Gyro SE, the massive acrylic platter has most of its weight distributed at its periphery and uses a screw down clamp for more precise clamping of the LP. The cast aluminum chassis is damped with Michell's DensoDamp compound to reduce ringing. Finally, the Orbe SE rests on a second spider that is de-coupled from the first via three single point contacts.

First introduced as the GyroDec in 1980 the Gyro SE is the most popular Michell turntable ever. We like to call it the analog bargain of the century since the Gyro SE gives so much performance, esthetics and quality of construction for so little money. From its heavy cast aluminum chassis, custom graphite/vinyl/acrylic platter with 24K gold-plated centrifugal weights, inverted oil pumping bearing, silent European-made DC motor and speed adjustable power supply, it would be difficult to beat this musical performer at even twice or three times its price. As Neil Young remarked, Steve Jobs was a pioneer of digital music but when he went home he listened to vinyl (on his GyroDec which he purchased in the early 80's)

Handcrafted from “logs” of oak or sapele, the Anna Log is both a joy to listen to and a feast for the eyes as well. This 97 lb. belt driven turntable offers heavy / damped platter, oil pumping platter bearing, low noise, low torque synchronous motor; Recommended arm is the 10″ or 12″ Ace Anna tonearm.

  • music hall’s unique dual plinth construction
  • one-piece full carbon fiber tonearm
  • counterweight’s center of gravity is level with the stylus tip, is decoupled from the arm, and acts as a resonance damper
  • completely isolated/decoupled DC motor with 33⅓ and 45 rpm speed controls located in the front left corner of the turntable, thus canceling any potential vibration from the motor/belt to the cartridge
  • motor sits on its own resonance damping puck
  • Optional Ortofon 2M Bronze cartridge with a nude fine line stylus
  • ($440 value)
  • the supplied cartridge is properly aligned and mounted
  • precision stainless steel main bearing sheathed in Teflon® for noise-free, fluid operation
  • non-resonant acrylic platter with metal screw-on record clamp
  • and soft felt mat
  • high quality gold RCA connectors and detachable phono cable
  • adjustable tip toe feet with anti scratch cups
  • low noise fully manual belt drive design
